At Insure Beauty, we create a private and relaxing salon experience for moms, wives, and our community. When women feel good about themselves, everything else in their lives follows. Our hair impacts the way we feel on the inside and out.

Honestly, I did not always feel that way. I was deep into my corporate career as a Medical Biller a few years ago. Taking time for myself and self-indulging into self-care and wellness was a challenge. I knew I needed a change, but - How? 

I did not have to wonder much longer, the pandemic hit - and I lost my well-acclaimed corporate job. While packing up my cubicle, one of my coworkers told me, "I know you will be okay- after all, your true passion is - the love of hair.” I had to be honest with myself and say they were right.

Afterall, I would always do my hair for work, and I spent much of my evenings and weekends doing hair as a private stylist or studying hair - reading blogs, watching videos, and doing my daughter’s hair. It was moments like this, that reminded me of my days back in the salon.

While in high school, I enrolled in cosmetology, and by the time I was 19 years old, I was dual licensed in Virginia and Washington, DC. I began braiding at 12; that was the start of my hair journey.

I knew it was time to combine my knowledge of Medical Billing and my passion for Cosmetology and create a small business—Insure Beauty was established in 2022. 

My goal is to help other moms, wives, and members of our community propel their lives forward through beauty. Take time to self-indulge a bit—and once again, truly feel -beautiful.
