Salon Policies & Terms of Service
Welcome to Insure Beauty!
These Terms of Service, together with our Salon Policies and any additional policies referenced herein, govern your use of our website, online store, products, booking services, and professional salon services.
Throughout these terms, “Insure Beauty,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Insure Beauty, LLC.
Our website and online store are powered by Shopify, which provides the technology that enables us to offer products and services online.
By accessing our website, placing an order, or booking an appointment, you acknowledge these terms and our Privacy Policy. Where legally required, your express acceptance may be requested.
If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using our services. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
PART ONE: SALON POLICIES
1. Booking Appointments & Deposits
All appointments are by appointment only and are scheduled through our online booking system.
A $50 deposit is required to secure your appointment and will be applied toward the total cost of your service. The remaining balance is due at the time of your appointment.
Your appointment is not considered confirmed until the required deposit has been received.
2. Cancellations
We understand that plans may change. If you need to cancel your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in the loss of your deposit. Same-day cancellations will forfeit the deposit.
Providing adequate notice allows us the opportunity to offer the appointment to another client.
3. Rescheduling
If you need to change your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice.
Appointments may be rescheduled one time, subject to availability, and your deposit will be transferred to the new appointment.
Rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice may require a new deposit.
4. No-Shows
A no-show is considered a missed appointment without prior notice.
No-shows will forfeit their deposit, and a new deposit will be required to schedule a future appointment.
Please contact us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment.
5. Sick Policy
For the health and comfort of our clients and stylists, please do not attend your appointment if you are sick or experiencing contagious symptoms.
Contact us as soon as possible to reschedule. Your deposit will be applied toward your next appointment.
We appreciate your consideration in helping us maintain a healthy environment for everyone.
6. Hair Extension Policy
Hair extensions are not included in the service price. Clients are responsible for purchasing and bringing the required hair for their appointment.
Please confirm the correct hair type, length, color, and required amount before purchasing.
Insure Beauty is not responsible for incorrect or insufficient hair brought to the appointment.
7. Social Media & Photography Policy
Photos and videos may be taken during appointments to showcase our work and may be used on Insure Beauty’s social media accounts, website, portfolio, and other marketing platforms.
If you prefer not to be photographed or featured, please notify us before your appointment. We will obtain any consent required by applicable law before using identifiable images for marketing.
Your privacy, comfort, and preferences are important to us.
8. Consultations
Virtual consultations are required for all new clients before booking a service.
Consultations allow us to discuss your hair goals, review your needs, answer questions, and recommend appropriate services.
Medical wig consultations are required before proceeding with a cranial prosthesis order.
Medical wig consultation fees are non-refundable. However, if you proceed with purchasing a cranial prosthesis following your consultation, the consultation fee will be applied toward the cost of your selected unit.
9. Mobile Appointments & Salon Location
Effective October 10, 2026, Insure Beauty no longer accepts new mobile service appointments.
Existing clients with previously approved mobile arrangements may continue receiving those services at our discretion.

PART TWO: TERMS OF SERVICE
1. Access & Customer Accounts
By using our website or purchasing our products and services, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state of residence or are using the website with appropriate parental or legal guardian consent.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account, placing an order, or scheduling an appointment.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account.
You may not transfer, sell, or assign your account to another person without authorization.
2. Products & Service Descriptions
Insure Beauty makes every effort to provide accurate product descriptions, photographs, pricing, and service information.
However, product colors, textures, and appearances may vary slightly depending on lighting, screen settings, manufacturing differences, and individual characteristics.
Product photographs and styling references are intended to illustrate appearance and do not guarantee identical results.
We reserve the right to update product descriptions, discontinue products, adjust availability, or limit purchase quantities as permitted by law.
3. Online Orders & Purchases
When you place an order through our website, you are submitting an offer to purchase the selected products.
Orders are subject to acceptance, product availability, and successful payment processing.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders for legitimate business reasons, including suspected fraud, incorrect pricing, inventory limitations, or payment issues, subject to applicable law.
If an order is canceled after payment has been collected, any refund required by applicable law will be issued.
Please review your order carefully before submitting it, particularly when purchasing customized or specialty products.
Returns, refunds, and exchanges are subject to our applicable Return and Refund Policy and consumer protection laws.
4. Pricing, Billing & Accepted Payments
All prices are subject to change without notice. The price applicable to an accepted order will generally be the price confirmed at checkout.
Applicable taxes, shipping fees, and other charges will be disclosed during checkout before payment is completed.
We accept major credit and debit cards, cash for eligible in-person transactions, and approved electronic payment methods.
Cash App and Zelle are not accepted.
By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.
You agree to provide accurate billing information and pay all authorized charges associated with your purchases or appointments.
Promotional pricing and discounts may be subject to additional conditions disclosed at the time of the promotion.
5. Shipping & Delivery
Shipping and delivery options may be available for eligible products purchased through our online store.
Estimated delivery dates are provided for convenience and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated.
Shipping times may be affected by carrier delays, severe weather, holidays, supply shortages, customs processing, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
If an order arrives damaged, incorrect, or incomplete, please contact us promptly so we can review the issue.
Additional shipping terms, responsibilities, and procedures are described in our Shipping Policy. Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies available under applicable law.
6. Deposits, Cancellations & Refunds
Salon appointments are subject to the deposit, cancellation, and rescheduling requirements outlined in Part One of this document.
Same-day cancellations and no-shows will result in forfeiture of the appointment deposit.
Consultation fees and custom cranial prosthesis orders may have separate payment, cancellation, and refund conditions, which will be disclosed before purchase.
Online product purchases are subject to our Return and Refund Policy.
Refund requests will be reviewed according to the applicable purchase terms and consumer protection laws.
Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
7. Client Responsibilities & Service Expectations
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information regarding their hair needs, service preferences, and relevant sensitivities before receiving services.
Clients receiving hair extension services must bring the appropriate hair unless otherwise arranged.
Insure Beauty strives to provide high-quality services tailored to each client’s individual needs.
Results may vary depending on hair condition, texture, previous treatments, maintenance practices, and other individual factors.
Reference photographs are used to communicate styling preferences and do not guarantee identical results.
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services when necessary for safety, professional standards, or other lawful reasons.
8. Medical Wigs & Cranial Prostheses
Medical wigs, also known as cranial prostheses, are specialized hair solutions for clients experiencing hair loss associated with medical conditions.
Cranial prostheses are not medications, medical treatments, or substitutes for professional medical advice.
A virtual consultation is required before proceeding with a medical wig service.
Our medical-grade cranial prostheses start at $1,500. Final pricing depends on hair selection, length, customization, and individual requirements.
Clients will receive information regarding custom order timelines, payment requirements, and applicable cancellation or refund conditions before placing an order.
9. Insurance, FSA & HSA Reimbursement
Insure Beauty is an out-of-network provider and does not bill insurance companies directly.
Upon request, we may provide an itemized receipt, also known as a superbill, and available supporting documentation for clients seeking possible reimbursement.
Insurance coverage varies depending on the client’s individual plan, documentation requirements, and eligibility.
Insure Beauty does not currently accept FSA or HSA payments directly.
Clients may request available documentation to submit to their FSA or HSA administrator for possible reimbursement.
Insurance, FSA, and HSA reimbursement is not guaranteed. Clients remain responsible for payment regardless of reimbursement decisions.
10. Intellectual Property
Our website content, original photographs, branding, logos, graphics, text, videos, product listings, and other protected materials are owned by Insure Beauty or their respective rights holders.
These materials are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
Website visitors may access our content for personal, lawful, non-commercial purposes.
Unauthorized reproduction, modification, redistribution, or commercial use of protected content is prohibited without appropriate permission.
Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property associated with that product.
Shopify and other third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
11. Third-Party Services & Website Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, booking systems, payment processors, shipping providers, and other external services.
These services may operate under their own terms, conditions, and privacy policies.
Insure Beauty does not control independent third-party websites and is not responsible for their content, practices, or services except where responsibility is imposed by applicable law.
We encourage customers to review third-party policies before submitting personal information or completing transactions.
12. Relationship with Shopify
Our online store is powered by Shopify, which provides technology supporting our website, checkout, and related online shopping features.
Products and salon services offered through our store are sold directly by Insure Beauty, not Shopify.
Shopify is not the seller of our products or the provider of our salon services.
Shopify’s own terms and policies govern its separate platform services, and applicable legal responsibilities remain with the appropriate parties.
13. Privacy & Electronic Communications
Personal information submitted through our website, booking system, consultation forms, or online store is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
Shopify and authorized service providers may process information necessary to operate our website, process transactions, support customer accounts, and maintain platform security.
Certain information may be processed or stored outside your state or country of residence, as described in the applicable privacy policies.
By providing your contact information, you acknowledge that we may send lawful transactional or service-related communications, including order confirmations, appointment updates, receipts, and important account notices.
Marketing text messages require any consent applicable under law. Accepting these Terms of Service does not automatically constitute consent to receive marketing text messages.

14. Customer Feedback & Reviews
We welcome customer reviews, suggestions, and feedback regarding our products and services.
By voluntarily submitting feedback for publication, you grant Insure Beauty permission to use and display that feedback in connection with our business, subject to applicable law and any agreed restrictions.
You represent that feedback submitted by you is accurate to the best of your knowledge and does not violate the rights of others.
We reserve the right to moderate or remove content that is unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, abusive, or otherwise violates applicable policies.
Personal photographs and identifiable client images used for marketing remain subject to our photography and consent policies.
15. Errors, Inaccuracies & Omissions
Occasionally, our website may contain typographical errors, inaccurate product descriptions, incorrect pricing, or outdated availability information.
We reserve the right to correct such errors and update information as necessary.
If an error affects an order that has already been submitted, we may contact the customer to discuss available options.
Any cancellation or refund will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
16. Prohibited Website Activities
Customers and website visitors agree to use our services only for lawful purposes.
The following activities are prohibited:
- Fraudulent transactions, false identities, or misleading information.

Any warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded remain fully applicable.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Insure Beauty will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from website interruptions, unauthorized third-party activity, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
This provision does not exclude liability for negligence, personal injury, fraud, or other matters where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.
Nothing in these Terms of Service removes or reduces mandatory consumer protection rights.
20. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, users agree to be responsible for third-party claims, losses, or expenses resulting from their unlawful use of our website, infringement of another party’s rights, or material violation of these Terms of Service.
This provision does not require customers to indemnify Insure Beauty for losses caused by our own unlawful conduct or negligence.

Insure Beauty may suspend or terminate access to customer accounts or online services when reasonably necessary to address fraud, security concerns, unlawful conduct, or material violations of these terms.
Termination does not eliminate outstanding lawful payment obligations or rights and responsibilities that survive termination.
Any required refunds or consumer remedies remain subject to applicable law.
22. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are generally governed by the applicable laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that may apply elsewhere.
Disputes may be brought before courts with appropriate jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
23. Severability
If any provision of these Terms of Service is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
24. Entire Agreement & Waiver
These Terms of Service, together with our Salon Policies and other applicable published policies, constitute the general terms governing our website, products, and services.
Additional written terms may apply to specific purchases, custom orders, consultations, or appointments.
Failure to enforce a particular provision does not automatically waive our right to enforce it in the future.
25. Electronic Communications
By using our website or placing an order, you acknowledge that certain transaction-related information and legally permitted notices may be provided electronically.
These communications may include receipts, order confirmations, appointment information, policy updates, and other service-related notices.
Customers are responsible for maintaining accurate contact information.
Promotional emails and text messages remain subject to applicable consent and unsubscribe requirements.
